Marko Feingold Prize

Announcing the Marko Feingold Prize 2019

In 2019, for the third time, the State and City of Salzburg, along with the Paris Lodron University of Salzburg will award the Marko Feingold Prize for a successfully completed dissertation in Jewish studies.

The dissertation should deal with the material culture or the lives and/or work of the Jewish population; theirinteractions withandinfluence on the culture, science, or literature of their societyandera;or theirpersecution, expulsion, exileand /ordiasporaexperiencesin differentworldregions andhistoricalcontexts. 

Anyone may apply who has completed a dissertation in these areas in 2017 or 2018.

Winner of this prize will receive € 4,500 . 

Applicants should submit the approved dissertation in electronic form, along with a short summary (c. 3 pages), the contact information for the dissertation supervisor(s), and a curriculum vitae.
